Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Project Demonstration in China

China has proposed over 12 large-scale carbon capture, utilization and storage demonstration projects since 2011. However, none of large-scale projects has made the final investment decision yet. What are technical features of those projects? What is the status of these projects? Why are they suspended, postponed or cancelled? Which projects would be moved to execute stage by 2020? What are recent R&D projects funded by Chinese Government? Where are CCUS centers for excellence in China? What are they doing?
